# Fox Simulator vs Real Wolf Simulator

The clearest difference is rating: Real Wolf Simulator at 4.0 against Fox Simulator's 3.5. Real Wolf Simulator also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (814 vs 35). Fox Simulator's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and review sentiment (45% vs 24%). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Real Wolf Simulator sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Fox Simulator asks for nothing beyond the download.

Real Wolf Simulator holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Real Wolf Simulator has 814 ratings behind it against 35, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 45% of Fox Simulator's written reviews are positive against 24% of Real Wolf Simulator's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Fox Simulator ships an update every 8 months, Real Wolf Simulator monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
