# DoMemo vs Writeathon

The clearest difference is rating: Writeathon at 5.0 against DoMemo's 4.5. Writeathon also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 4) and iOS requirement (12.1 vs 14.0). DoMemo's advantage is ratings volume (10 vs 2). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DoMemo sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Writeathon asks for nothing beyond the download.

Writeathon holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DoMemo has 10 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.
