# Auto Scroll Reader vs Auto Scroll PDF

The clearest difference is rating: Auto Scroll PDF at 5.0 against Auto Scroll Reader's 3.3. Auto Scroll PDF also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 11 days) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). Auto Scroll Reader's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 67%) and monetization model (freemium vs paid). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Auto Scroll Reader sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Auto Scroll PDF sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Auto Scroll PDF holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 1 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Auto Scroll Reader's written reviews are positive against 67% of Auto Scroll PDF's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Auto Scroll Reader ships an update every 11 days, Auto Scroll PDF every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
