# True Pace vs Fitsmith

The clearest difference is update cadence: True Pace at every 3 weeks against Fitsmith's every 3 months. Fitsmith's advantage is iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. True Pace sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Fitsmith sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

True Pace ships an update every 3 weeks, Fitsmith every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
