# Royal Passover vs eLocalPass

The clearest difference is rating: eLocalPass at 5.0 against Royal Passover's 4.5. Royal Passover's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks) and ratings volume (15 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

eLocalPass holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Royal Passover has 15 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Royal Passover ships an update every 5 days, eLocalPass every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
