# ViewBoost vs Youtube Transcripts

The clearest difference is ratings volume: ViewBoost at 1.1K against Youtube Transcripts's 176. ViewBoost also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ViewBoost sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Youtube Transcripts sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for ViewBoost against 4.6 for Youtube Transcripts. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ViewBoost has 1.1K ratings behind it against 176, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 38% of ViewBoost's written reviews are positive against 44% of Youtube Transcripts's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
