# Oxun Rowing vs ErgScan

The clearest difference is rating: ErgScan at 4.9 against Oxun Rowing's 4.0. ErgScan also leads on update cadence (every 8 days vs monthly) and ratings volume (13 vs 1). Oxun Rowing's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Oxun Rowing sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and ErgScan sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ErgScan holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ErgScan has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Oxun Rowing ships an update monthly, ErgScan every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
