# EBCC vs Sow

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: EBCC at none against Sow's 4. EBCC also leads on ads (none vs shown) and device support (3 vs 1). Sow's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (23 vs 1). On price and rating there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sow sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. EBCC asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for EBCC against 5.0 for Sow. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sow has 23 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

EBCC ships an update every 4 months, Sow weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
