# Shows vs BHTV

The clearest difference is ads: BHTV at none against Shows's shown. Shows's advantage is update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Shows ships an update every 6 weeks, BHTV every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
