# Iselect vs Q8+

The clearest difference is rating: Iselect at 4.7 against Q8+'s 4.2. Iselect also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (55 vs 5). Q8+'s advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Iselect holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Iselect has 55 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Iselect ships an update every 3 months, Q8+ fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
