# EMF Analytics (EMF Detector) vs Drone Scanner

The clearest difference is price: Drone Scanner at Free against EMF Analytics (EMF Detector)'s $4.99. Drone Scanner also leads on rating (1.8 vs 1.0) and ratings volume (145 vs 2). EMF Analytics (EMF Detector)'s advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 months) and review sentiment (25% vs 16%). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Drone Scanner is free to download; EMF Analytics (EMF Detector) costs $4.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Drone Scanner holds the better App Store score, 1.8 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Drone Scanner has 145 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of EMF Analytics (EMF Detector)'s written reviews are positive against 16% of Drone Scanner's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
