# SheNovel vs TaleWave

The clearest difference is rating: SheNovel at 4.4 against TaleWave's 3.8. SheNovel also leads on review sentiment (50% vs 25%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). TaleWave's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (85 vs 7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SheNovel sells 8 one-off in-app purchases and TaleWave sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $0.29 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SheNovel holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TaleWave has 85 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 50% of SheNovel's written reviews are positive against 25% of TaleWave's.

SheNovel ships an update every 2 months, TaleWave every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
