# AlopexCamera vs Camera Remote

The clearest difference is update cadence: Camera Remote at weekly against AlopexCamera's fortnightly. AlopexCamera's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AlopexCamera sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Camera Remote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AlopexCamera ships an update fortnightly, Camera Remote weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
