# LiveWire EV vs Nyan Gear

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: LiveWire EV at none against Nyan Gear's 6. LiveWire EV also leads on rating (3.9 vs 3.5) and ratings volume (115 vs 17). Nyan Gear's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nyan Gear sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. LiveWire EV asks for nothing beyond the download.

LiveWire EV holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LiveWire EV has 115 ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 48% and 47% positive.

LiveWire EV ships an update every 2 months, Nyan Gear every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
