# B38 vs Codename

The clearest difference is update cadence: Codename at every 5 days against B38's every 4 months. B38's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

B38 ships an update every 4 months, Codename every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on September 20, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
