# TheGame vs Life Widget

The clearest difference is rating: TheGame at 5.0 against Life Widget's 4.0. TheGame also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 75%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). Life Widget's advantage is ratings volume (30 vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TheGame sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Life Widget sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TheGame holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Life Widget has 30 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of TheGame's written reviews are positive against 75% of Life Widget's.

TheGame ships an update every 2 weeks, Life Widget every 9 days. Both last shipped on October 28, 2026.
