# TheGame vs Wakebound

The clearest difference is update cadence: Wakebound at every 5 days against TheGame's every 2 weeks. TheGame's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TheGame sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Wakebound sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TheGame ships an update every 2 weeks, Wakebound every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
