# MaReads vs LEZHIN TH

The clearest difference is ads: MaReads at none against LEZHIN TH's shown. MaReads also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks) and review sentiment (20% vs 6%). LEZHIN TH's advantage is rating (3.0 vs 2.8). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MaReads sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and LEZHIN TH sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LEZHIN TH holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 2 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of MaReads's written reviews are positive against 6% of LEZHIN TH's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MaReads ships an update fortnightly, LEZHIN TH every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
