# Mares App vs VizReport

The clearest difference is rating: Mares App at 4.5 against VizReport's 3.7. Mares App also leads on ratings volume (190 vs 3). VizReport's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 4 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mares App sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and VizReport sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mares App holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mares App has 190 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Mares App ships an update every 4 weeks, VizReport every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
