# The Power List vs SmartCrew HQ

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: SmartCrew HQ at none against The Power List's 2. SmartCrew HQ also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 80%) and update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly). The Power List's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (65 vs 6). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Power List sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. SmartCrew HQ asks for nothing beyond the download.

The Power List holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Power List has 65 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of The Power List's written reviews are positive against 100% of SmartCrew HQ's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

The Power List ships an update fortnightly, SmartCrew HQ every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
