# Kanguro vs Equit

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Equit at 100% against Kanguro's 16%. Equit also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.3) and update cadence (every 2 days vs fortnightly). Kanguro's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (267 vs 3). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Equit sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. Kanguro asks for nothing beyond the download.

Equit holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kanguro has 267 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 16% of Kanguro's written reviews are positive against 100% of Equit's.

Kanguro ships an update fortnightly, Equit every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
