# Kajou vs Jangalma

The clearest difference is rating: Jangalma at 4.4 against Kajou's 1.0. Jangalma also leads on ratings volume (9 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.6). Kajou's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 5 weeks) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Jangalma holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Jangalma has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Kajou ships an update weekly, Jangalma every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
