# Timetable vs Carbon Notes

The clearest difference is update cadence: Carbon Notes at every 3 weeks against Timetable's every 9 months. Timetable's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Timetable sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Carbon Notes sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Timetable ships an update every 9 months, Carbon Notes every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
