# Mammotion vs AiMowbot SMART

The clearest difference is rating: AiMowbot SMART at 3.5 against Mammotion's 2.9. Mammotion's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and ratings volume (349 vs 14). On price, update cadence, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AiMowbot SMART sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Mammotion asks for nothing beyond the download.

AiMowbot SMART holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mammotion has 349 ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 34% of Mammotion's written reviews are positive against 20% of AiMowbot SMART's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Mammotion ships an update every 3 weeks, AiMowbot SMART every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
