# Planet 13 Passport vs Zen Leaf+

The clearest difference is monetization model: Planet 13 Passport at free against Zen Leaf+'s free with in-app purchases. Zen Leaf+'s advantage is review sentiment (78% vs 59%) and update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Planet 13 Passport against 4.9 for Zen Leaf+. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Zen Leaf+ has 17K ratings behind it against 2.3K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 59% of Planet 13 Passport's written reviews are positive against 78% of Zen Leaf+'s.

Planet 13 Passport ships an update every 2 months, Zen Leaf+ monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
