# Campfire vs Emend

The clearest difference is update cadence: Emend at weekly against Campfire's fortnightly. Emend also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Campfire ships an update fortnightly, Emend weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
