# SummerProof vs Stoodl

The clearest difference is update cadence: Stoodl at every 3 days against SummerProof's every 9 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SummerProof sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Stoodl sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SummerProof ships an update every 9 months, Stoodl every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
