# Flips vs Wise Journal

The clearest difference is update cadence: Wise Journal at every 3 weeks against Flips's every 4 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flips sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Wise Journal sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flips ships an update every 4 months, Wise Journal every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
