# BestMate vs ApprenticeRecon

The clearest difference is monetization model: ApprenticeRecon at free against BestMate's subscription. ApprenticeRecon also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (100% vs 91%). BestMate's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.4). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BestMate sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $39.00 per month and ApprenticeRecon sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $349.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
