# Flip Clock vs Super Flip Clock

The clearest difference is rating: Flip Clock at 4.5 against Super Flip Clock's 4.0. Flip Clock also leads on ratings volume (56 vs 2) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 17.0). Super Flip Clock's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flip Clock sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Super Flip Clock sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.29 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flip Clock holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flip Clock has 56 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Flip Clock ships an update every 2 months, Super Flip Clock every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and September 15, 2026 respectively.
