# Search vs Image Search

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Search at 100% against Image Search's 0%. Search also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (18.6 vs 26.0). Image Search's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Search sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Image Search sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Search ships an update every 2 months, Image Search every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
