# txt vs EngNotes

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: txt at 13.0 against EngNotes's 16.6. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. txt sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and EngNotes sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
