# Class vs Laps

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Class at none against Laps's 9. Class also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.4). Laps's advantage is ratings volume (27 vs 3). On price, rating, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Laps sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Class asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Class against 5.0 for Laps. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Laps has 27 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Class ships an update every 2 days, Laps every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
