# JOP vs Note

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: JOP at none against Note's 1. JOP also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). Note's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 5 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Note sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. JOP asks for nothing beyond the download.

JOP ships an update every 5 months, Note every 2 days. Both last shipped on November 7, 2026.
