# 房間的秘密 vs Dark Notes

The clearest difference is review sentiment: 房間的秘密 at 80% against Dark Notes's 43%. 房間的秘密 also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 4 months). Dark Notes's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.4) and ratings volume (30 vs 9). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 房間的秘密 sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Dark Notes sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dark Notes holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 9 and 30 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of 房間的秘密's written reviews are positive against 43% of Dark Notes's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

房間的秘密 ships an update monthly, Dark Notes every 4 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
