# Dikkanji vs LYXA

The clearest difference is review sentiment: LYXA at 100% against Dikkanji's 33%. Dikkanji's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (32 vs 5). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Dikkanji holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dikkanji has 32 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Dikkanji's written reviews are positive against 100% of LYXA's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Dikkanji ships an update every 2 months, LYXA monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
