# SplashID Pro 9 vs CertTracker

The clearest difference is rating: CertTracker at 5.0 against SplashID Pro 9's 2.4. CertTracker also leads on monetization model (free vs subscription) and update cadence (daily vs every 3 weeks). SplashID Pro 9's advantage is ratings volume (140 vs 1) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SplashID Pro 9 sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and CertTracker sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CertTracker holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SplashID Pro 9 has 140 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SplashID Pro 9 ships an update every 3 weeks, CertTracker daily. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
