# FirstSeed Tasks vs Orbit

The clearest difference is update cadence: Orbit at every 5 days against FirstSeed Tasks's every 2 weeks. Orbit also leads on iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). FirstSeed Tasks's advantage is device support (4 vs 1). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FirstSeed Tasks sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Orbit sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FirstSeed Tasks ships an update every 2 weeks, Orbit every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
