# XDRP vs Capybara Simulator

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Capybara Simulator at 87% against XDRP's 43%. Capybara Simulator also leads on rating (4.9 vs 3.6) and ratings volume (12K vs 1.9K). XDRP's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. XDRP sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $13.99 per month and Capybara Simulator sells 25 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Capybara Simulator holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Capybara Simulator has 12K ratings behind it against 1.9K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 43% of XDRP's written reviews are positive against 87% of Capybara Simulator's.

XDRP ships an update fortnightly, Capybara Simulator every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
