# ChartedSails vs FivePointFive

The clearest difference is ads: FivePointFive at none against ChartedSails's shown. FivePointFive also leads on ratings volume (4.5K vs 2) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks). ChartedSails's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.6). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ChartedSails sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $44.99 per month and FivePointFive sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $44.99 per 3 months. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
