# Rex vs Crazy Kaiju

The clearest difference is rating: Crazy Kaiju at 4.5 against Rex's 3.8. Crazy Kaiju also leads on ratings volume (1.8K vs 8). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rex sells 11 one-off in-app purchases and Crazy Kaiju sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Crazy Kaiju holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Crazy Kaiju has 1.8K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
