# CALXTHENICS vs Sage Academy

The clearest difference is rating: Sage Academy at 5.0 against CALXTHENICS's 3.8. Sage Academy also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 6 weeks). CALXTHENICS's advantage is ratings volume (97 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CALXTHENICS sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and Sage Academy sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sage Academy holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CALXTHENICS has 97 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

CALXTHENICS ships an update every 6 weeks, Sage Academy every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
