# Phoning vs 2GATHR (Together)

The clearest difference is ads: 2GATHR (Together) at none against Phoning's shown. 2GATHR (Together) also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). Phoning's advantage is ratings volume (736 vs 9). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Phoning sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $8.49 per month and 2GATHR (Together) sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.0 for Phoning against 3.9 for 2GATHR (Together). That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Phoning has 736 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two.
