# Password Manager vs Shiftlyx

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Password Manager at 3K against Shiftlyx's 3. Shiftlyx's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 81%) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Password Manager sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Shiftlyx sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Shiftlyx holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Password Manager has 3K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 81% of Password Manager's written reviews are positive against 100% of Shiftlyx's.

Password Manager ships an update fortnightly, Shiftlyx weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
