# AMAU Academy vs HISTORYUN

The clearest difference is monetization model: HISTORYUN at free against AMAU Academy's subscription. HISTORYUN also leads on iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.0). AMAU Academy's advantage is ratings volume (133 vs 3). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AMAU Academy sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per month and HISTORYUN sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for AMAU Academy against 5.0 for HISTORYUN. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AMAU Academy has 133 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.
