# Outside vs Phillipian

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Phillipian at none against Outside's 1. Outside's advantage is ratings volume (1.9K vs 11) and chart position (#131 vs unranked). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Outside sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $89.99 per year. Phillipian asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Outside against 4.6 for Phillipian. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Outside has 1.9K ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two.
