# Focus On vs Stopwatch

The clearest difference is ads: Stopwatch at none against Focus On's shown. Stopwatch also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). Focus On's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks) and ratings volume (49 vs 3). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Focus On sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Stopwatch sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Stopwatch holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Focus On has 49 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Focus On ships an update weekly, Stopwatch every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
