# ChickFocus vs Focus Kitty

The clearest difference is update cadence: ChickFocus at every 3 days against Focus Kitty's every 3 weeks. ChickFocus also leads on ratings volume (1.1K vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Focus Kitty's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ChickFocus sells 19 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Focus Kitty sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Focus Kitty holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ChickFocus has 1.1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ChickFocus ships an update every 3 days, Focus Kitty every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
