# ChickFocus vs FocusPal

The clearest difference is ratings volume: ChickFocus at 1.1K against FocusPal's 3. ChickFocus also leads on device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.2). FocusPal's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and review sentiment (100% vs 89%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ChickFocus sells 19 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and FocusPal sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FocusPal holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ChickFocus has 1.1K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 89% of ChickFocus's written reviews are positive against 100% of FocusPal's.

ChickFocus ships an update every 6 days, FocusPal weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
