# ChickFocus vs Pomo

The clearest difference is ratings volume: ChickFocus at 1.1K against Pomo's 4. ChickFocus also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 weeks) and device support (4 vs 2). Pomo's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ChickFocus sells 19 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Pomo sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pomo holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ChickFocus has 1.1K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ChickFocus ships an update every 6 days, Pomo every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
